Duke Scentsy Warmer

Duke University was formed in 1924 from the then existing Trinity College. It was named after Washington Duke by his son James Buchanan Duke. The Dukes were wealthy tobacco manufacturers and producers of electricity. The institution is a private research university that is located in Durham, North Carolina and was established by Methodists and Quakers. The official school colors are Duke blue and white. Duke University has an international renown for its strong academics and research. The Duke Scentsy Warmer is white with the Blue Devil logo, a thick stripe and warmer top in the beautiful Duke blue.

The Duke University athletics teams are called the Blue Devils. The mascot is called the Blue Devil and is named after a special group of French soldiers during World War I. The teams are a part of Division-1 of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). They compete in twenty-six varsity sports. The NCAA concluded in 2006 that Duke University is the only university in the United States with the greatest number of student-athletes graduates. Several athletes became stars at a professional level, especially in basketballs NBA, such as Shane Battier, Corey Maggette and Carlos Boozer, to name a few. A very interesting landmark of the university is the 7 200 acres (29 km2) of forest called Duke Forest. Portions of this forest are opened to the public and the rest is reserved for private research.
