Texas Tech Scentsy Warmer

Texas Tech University (often referred to as Texas Tech or TTU) was established in 1923 and is located in West Texas on the South Plains in the city of Lubbock. It is a public research university. On September 1, 1969, the name of the school was changed from Texas Technological College to Texas Tech University. Scarlet and black are the official university colors and the mascot is a masked rider named Raider Red! The Texas Tech Scentsy warmer features the school colors of black and red and centered on the front, the most readily identifiable symbol of Texas Tech, the Double T logo.

Texas Tech is the only university in Texas with a law school, medical school, and major university located on the same campus. One of the school’s monuments is a statute of Will Rogers atop his favorite horse, Soapsuds. Soapsuds’ rear faces Texas A & M University, which is one of Texas Tech’s rivals. Legend has it that the directional placement of the horse’s rump was deliberate. Another monument is a piece of the original Blarney Stone that was discovered in 1939. The university participates in Division-1 of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the Big 12 Conference. The teams compete in fifteen (15) varsity sports. They are represented by a costumed mascot named Raider Red. The athletics teams are called Red Raiders.
