University of Iowa Scentsy Warmer

The University of Iowa Scentsy Warmer is a perfect addition to the home, office, or dorm of every Hawkeye Fan. The University of Iowa is the oldest public university in Iowa State. It was opened on February 25, 1847 just fifty-nine (59) days after Iowa became a State. This institution is responsible for the creation and development of the Master of Fine Arts degree. It also was the first institution of higher learning in the entire world to equate Fine Arts with academics. The school’s colors are black and old gold and its athletics teams and school population in general, are called Hawkeyes. The mascot representing the athletics teams is known as Herky the Hawk.

The University of Iowa is located in Iowa City, Iowa. It was the first public university in the nation to enroll both men and women with equal student status. This historic action took place in 1855. University of Iowa is indeed a trailblazer in many areas. There are several ‘firsts’ that the university is known for.

The University of Iowa is home to the largest university-owned teaching hospitals in the nation, The University of Iowa’s Hospitals and Clinics.

The school sports teams, which are known as the Hawkeyes, participate in the NCAA’s Division 1-A and also in the the Big Ten Conference. There have been many prominent atheltes, actors and entrepreneurs that have attended the University of Iowa. Such as Ricky Stanzi, Ashton Kutcher, Tom Arnold, Gene Wilder and Tom Brokaw, to name a few.
