University of Wisconsin Scentsy Warmer

The University of Wisconsin is a public, flagship research and land-grant university. The main campus is located in Madison, Wisconsin. The university was instituted in 1848 by Nelson Dewey who was the first governor of Wisconsin. The school officially opened on February 5, 1849. The first female students were admitted to the university in 1863. The athletics teams are called the Badgers and the official university colors are cardinal and white. The University of Wisconsin Scentsy Warmer features a beautiful black base with a glossy red dish to place a few cubes of your favorite Scentsy scents. It has a “W” and the school name printed across the center in red with white outline.

The University of Wisconsin is associated with several discoveries and innovative research. The research department discovered vitamin A in 1913 and vitamin B in 1916. The school is also known for the first bone marrow transplant which was done in 1968. The Madison campus is also the only university campus in the United States with a blood donation center. There are seventeen (17) Nobel Prize laureates and thirty-four (34) Pulitzer Prize winners who are either current or former members of the university. Buckingham U. Badger, known popularly as Bucky Badger, is the name of the costumed mascot that represents the athletics teams. The athletics teams are called Badgers because Wisconsin is the “Badger State”. They participate in Division-1A of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the Big Ten Conference.
