Marquette Scentsy Warmer

Marquette University (MU) is a Catholic-Jesuit institution of higher learning that was founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 28, 1881. The school was named after the Rev. Jacques Marquette, S.J. who was a French missionary and explorer. However, the idea and effort to establish the school was that of the Most Rev. Martin J. Henni who was Milwaukee’s first Catholic bishop. It is one of the largest Jesuit universities in the United States, and is the largest university in Wisconsin. Marquette University belongs to Division-1 of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the Big East Conference and participates in sixteen varsity sports. The athletics teams are called Golden Eagles and they are represented by a mascot named The Golden Eagle. Widely recognized alumni of Marquette University include actors Chris Farley and Rondell Sheridan; Les Aspin (former Secretary of Defense in Bill Clinton’s administration); Dwayne Wade (NBA champion basketball player and Olympic gold and bronze medalist); Patrick E. Haggerty (co-founder of Texas Instruments); Ralph Metcalfe (Olympic gold, silver, and bronze medalist in sprinting); and Robert M. Mosher who invented Bagel Bites.
