Arizona State University academics programs are spread over four campuses in the Pheonix Metropolitan area. On the basis of enrollment alone, Arizona State University (ASU) is the largest public university in the United States of America. The university was founded on March 12, 1885 and the main campus is recognized as an arboretum. The school’s colors are maroon and gold and the mascot is Sparky, who is a Sun Devil wielding a trident. The sports teams are also part of the Pacific-12 Conference and they are represented by the mascot Sparky, who is a trident-wielding Sun Devil. The Sun Devils are fierce competitors and have won twenty-three (23) national collegiate championships. The university competes in twenty (20) varsity sports. Students and Alumni are also known as Sun Devils. One of the most remarkable things about the university’s main campus is its natural environs; trees and greenery everywhere. This was by design and inspiration of former president Arthur John Matthews. The Arizona State Scentsy Warmer has a gold base with the school name and logo in maroon.
